Concerning your child’s height

Our clinic will provide you with a full examination (review about development history, construction of growth chart, physical examination, blood test, and X-ray of left hand).

If some underlying disease is found during this procedure, treatment for primary disease is prioritized.
If your child has no underlying problems and you still want to increase your child’s adult height, we are prepared to suggest the following three options.

Primobolan® (metanolone acetate)

Primobolan® is an oral anabolic steroid that binds to androgen receptors and functions like androgens (acceleration of growth, increment of muscle and bone mass, deepening of voice, thickening of beard and pubic hair, and enlargement of external genitalia).

What distinguishes anabolic steroids from androgens is that they will not be converted to estrogens in human body and will not accelerate maturation of bones.
We use this unique nature of Primobolan® to increase growth speed and suppress advancement of bone maturation simultaneously. Although elevation of transaminases named AST and ALT, indicators of hepatic dysfunction, are observed as adverse events in small portion of patients treated with this medicine, those elevated transaminases usually return to normal levels once the medicine is ceased.

Leuplin® (leuprorelin acetate)

Leuplin® is known as gonadotropin-releasing hormone analog and binds to pituitary gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptors. By binding and providing continuous stimulation of the receptors, Leuplin® desensitizes the gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptors and consequently reduces serum levels of gonadotropin and sex steroids including androgen and estrogen.
Monthly injection of this drug suppresses maturation of bones effectively.

Administration of Leuplin® can increase adult height when combined with either Primobolan® or growth hormone. Adverse effects include hot flashes, headaches, sweating, and dermatological reactions on the injection site (rashes, allergies, and infections).

Somatropin BS® (somatropin)

Somatropin is a synthetic human growth hormone.
Daily injection of this medicine before maturation of bones in children stimulates growth of bones and muscles and increases adult height.

Efficacy of this medicine is well established in children with growth hormone deficiency, Turner syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, chronic renal failure, and small-for-gestational-age (SGA). Effectiveness of this medicine for children with idiopathic short stature (healthy small children) is reported as well, however, the effect of this medicine is weaker in these children compared with those suffering from the diseases aforementioned.

Common adverse effects are dermatological reactions on the injection site (rashes, allergies, and infections). Rare but severe adverse effects include diabetes, tumors, and bone deformities such as scoliosis. Although this medicine has a strong effect in increasing final height in children, its cost effectiveness and potential hazards have to be seriously considered before starting it.
